New gameplay trailer for FBC: Firebreak and a summer release window

Today at the Future Games Show, they unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer for Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming three-player cooperative shooter: FBC: Firebreak. Across today’s event, fifty-five games were showcased, spanning over two hours. It was an impressive lineup, so I suggest you check it out if you have the time. However, for a more detailed breakdown, keep an eye on Gamepressure. The trailer for FBC Firebreak displayed an intriguing gameplay feature that seems tailor-made for Remedy’s universe.

FBC Firebreak has a new gameplay trailer, and a planned release window for this summer

In a change from their previous works, Remedy Entertainment is venturing into a new genre for their upcoming game titled FBC Firebreak. This co-operative PvE first-person shooter unfolds within the Federal Bureau of Control, an agency that has appeared in several Remedy games before. In this game, players will join forces to handle peculiar supernatural occurrences within a unique office environment.

The fresh trailer for FBC: Firebreak offers a lengthy sneak peek into its gameplay, and it certainly lived up to expectations. In this upcoming game, players will find themselves battling hordes of luminescent humanoid adversaries, but there’s more to it than that. Interestingly, the trailer introduces an anomaly featuring an ever-increasing number of yellow sticky notes. Players are depicted firing them off walls, swatting them aside, and even using grenades to clear the yellow sticky paper from obstructing their environment.

“The sticky notes pile up so thick on a player, adhering to their display and impeding their sight. Although not depicted in the preview, there’s a shout-out about needing to blast them away, which suggests players might accidentally hit their teammates if things escalate. If it comes down to it, taking some damage could be beneficial since it appears that when a player gets swarmed by sticky notes, they transform into a hostile, sticky note-made figure. I’m not sure of the specifics, but it seems tailor-made for this game. To make things even more intriguing, a colossal, nightmarish mass of sticky notes might serve as the final boss in this stage.

There’s a lot left unexplored regarding the Firebreak: Firebreak game. It’s possible that this mission with sticky notes is simply one of several puzzling instances players will encounter. If the focus on sticky notes continues, it might become repetitive. However, I have faith in Remedy, and after seeing the trailer, I’m genuinely eager for its release. Before the trailer, I was somewhat interested in the game, but now I can’t wait to play it.
