The trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is here, and it looks genuinely scary! This follow-up to the 2023 movie, inspired by the well-known game, is set a year after the original film’s story.
The movie follows Mike, a former security guard, and Vanessa, a police officer, who have been hiding the truth about what happened to Abby’s beloved animatronic toys. When Abby, age 11, runs away to find her robotic friends – Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy – it kicks off a frightening chain of events. These events uncover the dark history of Freddy’s and unleash a terrifying, decades-old secret.
Theodus Crane is back as Jeremiah, and Matthew Lillard returns as William Afton. The movie also features new actors like Wayne Knight from Jurassic Park, Mckenna Grace from Annabelle Comes Home, and Skeet Ulrich of Scream.
Emma Tammi directed Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, just as she did the original film. Scott Cawthon, who created the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, also wrote the screenplay for the sequel, following his work on the first movie.
Blumhouse, the studio behind many horror hits, is creating a sequel to the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ movie. Jason Blum, who founded Blumhouse, will produce the film alongside the game’s creator, Cawthon. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 5th.
The 2023 film Five Nights at Freddy’s earned over $291 million globally, making it the year’s most successful horror movie.
