New DLC Gets Price Cut Before Release Due To “Events Happening In The World”

Rockfish Games has decided to lower the cost of their forthcoming DLC expansion for Everspace 2 before its scheduled launch on May 12, in response to recent global occurrences.

Initially, the game expansion named Wrath of the Ancients was priced at $30. But Rockfish Games decided to lower the cost to $25 instead. Moreover, they also decreased the price for Everspace 2’s first expansion, Titans, from its original $15 down to $12 recently.

Rockfish Games made it clear that while the cost of Wrath of the Ancients has decreased, nothing substantive has been eliminated from the game. Instead, it offers fresh narratives, side missions, adversaries, and an additional playable Wraith vessel.

The price hike of PS5 consoles and PS Plus subscriptions isn’t lost on me, and some games like Mario Kart World are now priced at $80. It seems like Rockfish Games might be referring to the Trump tariffs that have been causing a stir in our gaming world.
