New Borderlands 4 Patch Notes Take Aim At PC Stability Issues And More

Gearbox recently released a new update for the PC version of Borderlands 4 to fix several major problems, especially those causing the game to crash or run poorly.

The game developers recently announced a new update on their website, focusing on improving performance and player experience. This patch fixes crashes related to graphics, sound, and general gameplay on PC, and also makes the game’s progression smoother. They’ve also adjusted the rewards and items available in the Gilded Glory Pack to make everything flow more seamlessly.

The developers have adjusted the Gilded Glory Pack’s rewards. The exclusive gear from this pack will no longer show up in regular chests. They’ve also fixed a bug with the Reward Center that was happening when players claimed items from the Gilded Glory Pack. This pack was a bonus for those who preordered the game and includes four legendary weapons and a unique head cosmetic.

Following the launch of Borderlands 4 on Steam on September 12th – which, despite a strong start, received a lot of criticism due to problems with the PC version – the developers have released an update. While Gearbox stated they were focused on fixing the issues, studio head Randy Pitchford also responded to players voicing complaints.

Borderlands 4 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A version for the new Nintendo Switch 2 is planned for release on October 3rd. You can find a complete list of changes and updates for the game below.

Weekly Minor Updates:

Each week, the Weekly Big Encore Boss and Wildcard Mission will change. Plus, Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine will be in a new location!

Weekly Big Encore Boss

Okay, so every week there’s this ‘Big Encore Boss’ – it’s like a super-charged version of a boss we’ve already beaten. And honestly, it’s totally worth taking on because the rewards you get are *way* better than normal. As a fan, I’m always excited to see who gets the ‘Encore’ treatment!

Weekly Wildcard Missions

Weekly Wildcard Missions take regular missions and make them more difficult with special challenges. Completing these missions always rewards a powerful Legendary item, and you can replay them as many times as you like to get exactly the stats you want.

Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine

Check each week to find the new location of the Black Market Vending Machine and see what it’s offering. Keep in mind that everyone sees different items in their vending machine, so it’s a good idea to chat with other players to see if they have anything you need!
