Friends was a huge hit on the platform during the pandemic, and The Big Bang Theory has been a long-time favorite. Unfortunately, Netflix is now taking these two popular shows off its service in several regions, much to the disappointment of many subscribers.

Get ready for a last-minute marathon of your favorite shows! Both The Big Bang Theory and Friends are leaving Netflix before the end of 2025, according to What’s On Netflix. If you’re in the UK, Germany, Italy, South Africa, or Switzerland, you’ll no longer be able to stream Friends after December 31st. The Big Bang Theory will disappear from Netflix in those same regions a day earlier, on December 30th.

There’s still a chance Friends might stay on Netflix. This isn’t the first time the show has been set to leave, and Netflix has renewed the license before to keep it available.
