It’s uncertain if Jenna Ortega will stay in the series ‘Nevermore’ permanently, but since Netflix has renewed ‘Wednesday‘ for another season, there’s a possibility that we might see more of her character. Co-creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, expressing their enthusiasm, stated that they consider the show as a team effort and are grateful to continue this journey. They hope to keep Wednesday Addams enrolled at the academy for outcasts, which lasts seven years or seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It’s unclear if Ortega or her collaborator Tim Burton have a definite preference regarding the number of seasons for the “Beetlejuice” series, as they both seemed hesitant when asked by The Hollywood Reporter. However, there might be more content from this universe in the future, as hinted by showrunners and Netflix executives. For now, we can expect the second season of “Wednesday” to release in two parts on August 6 and September 3, respectively.
