As a seasoned cinema enthusiast who has spent countless evenings wrapped in a blanket, sipping hot cocoa, and immersing myself in the magical world of holiday movies, I must say that this year’s offerings from Netflix, following the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas event, have truly caught my eye.
Now that Halloween has wrapped up, we’re moving straight into the season of Christmas movies! Although Hallmark+ offers a vast library of holiday films, some of their top picks from 2023 haven’t made it onto the streaming app just yet. However, you can find these highly anticipated movies on Netflix instead.
The Hallmark Channel kicked off its 15th annual Countdown to Christmas celebration in October (check out the schedule here). During this festive period, new movies are being aired every weekend, and holiday films can be streamed around the clock. Interestingly, if you’re seeking movies featuring some beloved Hallmark actors like Andrew Walker, Bethany Joy Lenz, Kris Polaha, Lacey Chabert, and Jonathan Bennett, these can currently be found streaming on Netflix.
