NetEase Games has announced their plans to attend the Tokyo Game Show 2025, taking place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan from September 25-28. Notably, they will present two games from their studios that fall within our area of interest and have distinct booths for each title.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m excited to share that I’ll soon get my hands on “Ananta” by Naked Rain, which will be showcased at booth C06 in Hall 6. It’s been a while since we heard about this free-to-play RPG, but now it seems we’re getting another glimpse of it shortly. The developers recently unveiled the new title for the game previously known as Project Mugen and spread festive messages during the holiday season – Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. However, they’ve been quiet ever since until today, making this update even more intriguing!
Under normal circumstances, it’s expected that Ananta will be released on PlayStation 5, computers (PC), Android devices, and Apple devices (iOS).

The second exhibit, titled “Sword of Justice” by Zhurong Studio, will occupy booth C02 in Hall 8. This exhibit is an open-world MMORPG set during the Northern Song era in China (approximately 960-1127 AD). The Japanese press release states that the game will be playable on PC via Steam, although it has yet to appear on this platform. Its official website currently only offers pre-registration options for Android and iOS devices.
