Today, the well-known figure, billbil-kun, shared early insights regarding NBA 2K26. As per his trusted resources, the upcoming game is said to feature:
- is set to be released on September 5, 2026;
- it will hit PC, PS5, XSX/S, Switch, and Switch 2 (each Nintendo console will receive a separate version);
- it won’t be released on PS4 and XOne;
- it is created by Visual Concepts studio, a subsidiary of 2K Games;
- in the standard version, it’s going to cost $69.99 on PC, PS5, XSX/S, and Switch (the release for the original Switch is going to be a bit cheaper at $59.99).
Based on billbil-kun’s reliable track record, it seems prudent that we await official confirmation before assuming the commencement date. However, if the statement “the announcement and start of pre-orders should take place in July” is accurate, then we can expect these events to happen next month.
