As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the recent match between Complexity and NAVI was nothing short of thrilling. The strategic acumen displayed by both teams was evident, particularly on Anubis where it seemed like anyone’s game until the second half.
On Anubis, Complexity has been thriving lately, making it an obvious choice as the opening map for South African IGL Johnny “JT” Theodosiou. The team’s familiarity with Anubis was evident, as the first half ended in a tight contest at 6-6.
Towards the latter part of the game, Ukrainian AWper Ihor “w0nderful” Zhdanov shone brilliantly for NAVI, racking up an impressive four kills using the USP-S weapon, making it appear effortless.
In the 23rd round, when both teams were evenly matched at 11-11 apiece, Valerij “b1t” Vakhovsjkyj made a crucial move for NAVI, scoring a 2v1 clutch using an MP9 in a post-plant scenario, giving them a 12-11 advantage.
On Anubis, the intricacies didn’t lead to overtime extension despite b1t’s impressive plays, and NAVI emerged victorious with a score of 13-11. In the map selection favoring NAVI, Nuke, the contest was relatively lopsided.
From the T side’s start, NAVI led significantly during the first half, scoring an impressive nine rounds compared to Complexity’s mere three. Although Complexity made a valiant attempt in the second half, NAVI had already built an insurmountable lead. Moreover, b1t clinched the game for NAVI by swiftly claiming three headshot kills with the AK-47, pushing NAVI to the brink of victory.
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that NAVI clinched their spot at the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 with a dominating 2-0 series win against Nuke, sealing the deal with a 13-6 score.
