This tower lies just south of the Outcast Tower Camp region, and conveniently, there’s a fast-travel point right nearby. Alternatively, you can journey northwest from the Southern Warden Tower to reach it.

To reach this treasure:

  1. From the south side of the tower, walk down the path to the left that leads between the rocks and along the lava river
  2. Climb up the ledges (minding the jump) until you reach a circular building
  3. Activate the small button on the left side of the desk, behind the large pot
  4. Go straight ahead to exit the room to find the secret door now open
  5. Walk through the doorway and drop into the ruin below where you’ll see the treasure chest next to an ornate wall on the left

Obtaining this treasure map will grant you the Time’s Tarnish unique shield, a protective gear that the soldier boasts has saved him in numerous battles. A quick glance at its specifications reveals why it’s so highly valued. Whenever you block an attack, there’s a 20% likelihood that it will restore 20 units of your stamina, and a 10% chance that it will shield you from melee damage if struck. This makes it an ideal choice for fighters, as it relieves some of the pressure to maximize your stamina, allowing you to allocate additional points towards increased Might instead.
