As a die-hard fan of My Hero Academia, I couldn’t contain my excitement when whispers about a new fighting game surfaced. And boy, was it worth the wait! Bandai Namco officially confirmed the news during their summer showcase, unveiling My Hero Academia: All’s Justice.
This 3D brawler is being developed alongside the anime series’ grand finale, ensuring that it will showcase the series’ ultimate battles. That means I’ll get to step into the action and live the climax of this beloved manga myself!
Bandai Namco revealed a sneak peek at combat mechanics and a glimpse into its workings, following the stunning teaser trailer displaying the game’s advanced graphics for My Hero Academia: All’s Justice. As per Aoba Miyazaki, the director, one of the standout features is an extensive character roster, featuring, for the first time, all students from class 1-A. Players can pick a team of three characters and switch them effortlessly during battles, enabling them to combine attacks and quirk abilities in succession. Additionally, a new Rising system allows players to amplify their characters’ power substantially by unleashing their full potential, although the developers are yet to clarify the specifics.
In the coming days, Bandai Namco has promised to reveal additional details about My Hero Academia: All’s Justice. At this point, enthusiasts can add the forthcoming game to their wishlists for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
More than five years have passed since My Hero Academia: One’s Justice 2 was launched in March 2020, marking the time gap between that release and the announcement of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice. While One’s Justice 2 was an improvement over its precursor, it didn’t receive the same level of acclaim as Bandai Namco’s Naruto or Dragon Ball fighting games, such as Ultimate Ninja Storm and FighterZ.
