My Hero Academia Season 8 release window confirmed, and it’ll end the anime

As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness as we approach the final season. This series has been a constant companion for many years, guiding us through the trials and triumphs of Deku and his friends in the world of UA High School.

My Hero Academia Season 8 has been confirmed for 2025, and it’ll bring the epic saga to a close.

2021 has been an extraordinary year for My Hero Academia. Not only did season 7 of the popular superhero anime debut, launching the climactic Final War between Deku, Class 1-A, and Shigaraki, but we also saw the release of a new movie, “My Hero Academia: Here Comes the Next,” and the conclusion of the manga’s storyline.

Since we’ve heard the news, everyone has been curious about how the story of My Hero Academia would wrap up. Now, our curiosity is put to rest as it’s been officially confirmed that Season 8 will be the final season, and it’s set to premiere in 2025.

Just received some exciting news moments before the premiere of Season 7, Episode 21 – the grand finale! A brief sneak peek confirms that this is it, the final season. No more guessing or debating, I’m thrilled to see how it all wraps up!

“This title indicates that we’re about to read the final chapter, wrapping up all the events in a beautifully poetic way, showing our transformation into the greatest heroes.

It was speculated that My Hero Academia might continue the trend set by Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle and make its way to the big screen for Deku’s major showdown against All For One. However, it appears this isn’t happening at the moment – though there’s a possibility we could see a compilation film eventually, Studio Bones is currently focusing on television productions instead.

Given the amount of content to cover in the upcoming battle, and considering this will mark the conclusion of Kohei Horikoshi’s entire storyline, there’s no rush. In fact, it has the luxury to take as much time as needed. Compared to many contemporary TV shows, both in anime and other media, an eight-season run is quite extended.

The appeal and excellent translation by Bones of My Hero Academia are clearly evident. As we prepare to bid farewell to characters like Deku and Tanjiro, the next few years are likely to be filled with heartfelt emotions due to their impending departures.
