MW2 LMG has one of Warzone’s best TTKs in Season 6 but its totally ignored

As a seasoned Warzone player with countless hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel like a broken record when it comes to the underappreciated gems in our arsenal. The Modern Warfare 2’s Rapp H, a weapon that has been overshadowed for far too long, is finally getting its moment in the sun. This LMG, with its blazing TTK of 750 ms over 40 meters, is a force to be reckoned with.

In Warzone Season 6, one of the Light Machine Guns from Modern Warfare 2 boasts an exceptional time-to-kill (TTK) rate among the top tier, yet a majority of players seem to be overlooking it.

Despite the end of the Modern Warfare 3 cycle in Warzone approaching, the battle royale game has experienced significant weapon upgrades during this period. Season 6 marked the last major overhaul for popular weapons, while Modern Warfare 2 firearms received considerable attention.

Even with the enhancements, the weapon choices in Modern Warfare 2 seem limited compared to what’s available. In fact, it’s primarily MW3 weapons that rule the gameplay, yet these are not necessarily the quickest to eliminate opponents in a battle royale scenario.

Generally speaking, it is often the case that recognition is given to weapons from Modern Warfare 2 such as the Rapp H, and this weapon was once more brought into focus by Warzone expert WhosImmortal.

In his October 3 video, the YouTuber expressed his delight, saying “Amazingly, it’s been such a long time but Rapp H from MW2 is fantastic now – one of the best TTK options currently in MW2.

He noted that the LMG’s slow mobility speed does have to be factored in, but if you can hit your shots, you’re going to delete enemies. “If you’ve got your sights up and can land shots on a target, this thing can melt,” he added.

  • Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: Paracord Grip
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Ammunition: 7.62x51mm High Grain
  • Magazine: 100-round mag

In combat situations spanning 40 meters, the Rapper boasts a Time-to-Kill (TTK) of just 750 milliseconds. As per WhosImmortal’s assessment, this speed is remarkably swift compared to other alternatives available.

Unlike alternatives like the FTAC Recon, which have specific disadvantages, the LMG doesn’t come with any significant drawbacks. As long as you can manage its slower movement pace, you’re in a good position to accumulate victories.

As a fellow enthusiast, if you’re searching for a swift-eliminating Submachine Gun to complement your arsenal, let me point out another exceptional choice from Modern Warfare 2 – the Lachmann Shroud. At the moment, this bad boy is dominating the fast-kill scene, so give it a try and see how far you can push its capabilities!
