Murdaugh Murders Hulu Series Casts Tyner Rushing (EXCLUSIVE)

It’s been revealed that Tyner Rushing has joined the Hulu mini-series on the Murdaugh family in a frequently appearing supporting role, according to exclusive information obtained by EbMaster.

Joining the ensemble of the series is Rushing, alongside Jason Clarke, Patricia Arquette, J. Smith-Cameron, Johnny Berchtold, Will Harrison, Brittany Snow, Noah Emmerich, Kathleen Wilhoite, and Tommy Dewey. This show is inspired by real events surrounding Maggie and Alex Murdaugh, as chronicled by Mandy Matney, a journalist who also created the “Murdaugh Murders” podcast. In this production, Clarke will portray Alex, with Arquette taking on the role of Maggie. Snow has been cast as Matney.

For several years, the Murdaugh family held significant control in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina, using their legal and political clout extensively. However, over the past decade, allegations of their involvement in numerous crimes such as fraud and murder have surfaced. Their story has been explored in depth through podcasts like “Murdaugh Murders”, as well as various documentaries and news features.

Michael D. Fuller and Erin Lee Carr share the roles of co-creators and executive producers for the Murdaugh series. Additionally, Fuller will take on the role of showrunner. Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund will serve as executive producers under their production company, Eat the Cat, with Matney also joining in this capacity. The studio responsible is Universal Content Productions (UCP), where Antosca and Eat the Cat are currently under an overarching agreement.
