Following the observation on an economy flight, MrBeast responded on social media to the statements made by “MrBroke“, with fans playfully commenting about his travel on a regular passenger aircraft.
MrBeast is a well-known content producer worldwide, recognized for being the top YouTuber with the most subscribers and for producing the highest-grossing reality TV series, Beast Games. This creative professional spends much of his time traveling globally to generate fresh, groundbreaking content.
During a flight in February, 2025, MrBeast was observed taking a nap in his seat. A user on platform X (previously known as Twitter) captured a photo of the streamer and titled the post, “Has MrBeast run out of money now?
“He was reportedly spotted flying economy,” the caption further noted.
On platform X, the post exploded with popularity, gathering numerous comments and accumulating tens of millions of views. Even MrBeast, the creator himself, weighed in and clarified the situation.
MrBeast confirms he flies economy for a key reason
In response to the initial post, MrBeast explained that due to the frequency of his travels and the occasional urgency of these trips, he usually finds himself seated in economy class as the more convenient options are typically taken.
As a frequent gamer this year, I’ve found myself hopping on board Southwest flights more often than not. In a pinch, when we needed those impromptu tickets, they were my go-to choice. And let me tell you, there’s something amusing about finding myself in the back of the plane, surrounded by fellow enthusiasts – an impromptu gathering of fans, if you will, laughing and sharing stories as we soar through the skies.

On several occasions this year, I’ve taken Southwest Airlines. Occasionally, due to unexpected demands for immediate tickets, only those are left available.
The YouTube personality mentioned that he occasionally finds himself relaxing in the back of an airplane alongside unexpected fans, as a result of last-minute flight bookings.
As a gamer, I’ve got to admit, sometimes I have to fly economy when the situation calls for it. Surprisingly, the feedback from my fellow gamers has been mostly supportive and understanding.
