Contrary to popular belief that MrBeast’s fame on YouTube makes him rich primarily from his viral videos, it’s actually not his main source of income. Instead, there are other significant revenue streams contributing to his wealth.
2024 marked a massive milestone for me, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’, as I outranked T-Series to claim the title of YouTube’s most-subscribed influencer. As of March 2025, my subscriber count has skyrocketed past 553 million, spreading across all my active channels. It’s been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this achievement!
Although he has a vast YouTube domain with videos garnering tens of millions of views within hours of posting, it’s not his primary source of income among his various ventures.
By the end of 2024, Donaldson completed shooting for his blockbuster Amazon Prime series, Beast Games. Interestingly, he had also launched a burger restaurant back in 2020, but unfortunately, it had to close its doors by 2023.

It turns out that neither of these options surpass his primary source of earnings – the Feastables chocolate bar brand.
MrBeast’s biggest cash cow isn’t his YouTube channel
Since its debut in early 2022, Feastables has quickly gained popularity, making it one of the top-preferred chocolates for consumers at retailers such as Target, Walmart, and many others.
Indeed, there was such a massive need for these items that they were completely depleted from store shelves as early as March 2024. In response, a popular YouTube personality went so far as to personally arrange for additional stock to become available the very same year.
According to Fortune’s report, Feastables recorded approximately $250 million in revenue and earned about $20 million in profit in the year 2024. Interestingly, though they generated around the same amount in sales, their YouTube channels and Amazon Prime series collectively ended up with a loss of approximately $80 million.

It’s not unexpected that MrBeast often finds himself in the red; he openly confessed in a 2022 interview with Rolling Stone that he consistently spends “thousands of dollars and countless hours” each month, factoring in his content creation and charitable endeavors.
In the year 2021, he posted a tweet confessing that his videos cost him a significant, even comical, sum of money. He started his Best Gaming channel as a means to recover these losses.
Most of my latest video productions have cost me an enormous sum of money. To offset these losses, I decided to create a gaming channel as a secondary source of income, allowing me to primarily concentrate on producing top-quality content for my main channel. 😊

Regardless of the significant financial impact, MrBeast has openly expressed that he’s not preoccupied with his personal wealth; instead, he intends to distribute everything he owns before his passing.
Beyond this, it’s projected that Beast Industries will generate a profit of $300 million by 2026. His numerous YouTube channels continue to thrive, and he has a substantial cushion with Feastables, enabling him to fund his own charity, Beast Philanthropy, comfortably.
As reported by CNBC, MrBeast’s wealth surpasses $700 million in 2024, and given his numerous upcoming ventures, it appears he has more riches yet to come as the reigning king of YouTube.
