MrBeast’s Bold Mission to End Child Labor in West Africa!

YouTube sensation MrBeast aims to elevate his humanitarian aspirations by announcing his intention to assist in the maximum feasible number of West African children, with a focus on rescuing them from the grip of child labor.

Jimmy, popularly known as ‘MrBeast’, is renowned for being the most subscribed content creator on YouTube, boasting an estimated wealth of approximately $700 million. However, beyond financing his viral video productions, this affluence is also utilized for charitable purposes.

MrBeast also established a separate channel to champion his personal charity, Beast Philanthropy, where he contributes to local communities in North Carolina and supports global initiatives such as funding cataract surgeries for patients, constructing homes for homeless individuals in Jamaica, and even ocean clean-up projects.

Currently, MrBeast is embarking on a larger project, which appears to have been sparked by his involvement in the chocolate industry through his Feastables candy bar range.

MrBeast embarks on year-long plan to end West Africa child labor

On March 20th, Donaldson posted a tweet disclosing his initiative of providing complimentary breakfasts at schools throughout West Africa, aiming to encourage children to attend school instead of working on cocoa farms.

Based on a YouTube influencer’s report, enrollment in these schools increased by 10% within the initial week. This surge seems to be due to the fact that students find it appealing to attend school when they can expect to receive meals.

In an effort to prevent children from working on cocoa farms in West Africa, we initiated a program that provides free breakfast at schools (as many kids are drawn to education when they know they’ll be fed), and it has already boosted one school’s attendance by 10% within the first week,” he noted.

As a passionate advocate, I’ve immersed myself deeply, spending likely around 2000 to 3000 hours, in the quest to eradicate child labor in West Africa. Surrounding myself with intellectual giants in this field, I believe my knowledge on this issue has surpassed what one might find on popular platforms like YouTube.

I’ve spent approximately 2,000 to 3,000 hours working towards removing around 1.5 million children from child labor on African farms and enrolling them in schools instead. I’m surrounded by brilliant minds, and I feel like I’ve amassed a great deal of knowledge about child labor in Africa – more than I ever thought possible, to the point where it feels like I could teach a course on the topic! (And yes, that joke about knowing more about child labor in Africa than YouTube is mine.)

Furthermore, the YouTuber expresses his intention to devote the upcoming year to achieving this particular goal, with the aspiration that his 375 million viewers will join him on this journey.

He stated that if someone with as much impact as himself cannot resolve this issue, then likely no one else will. He remains deeply committed to this task.

Approximately 1.56 million children labor in the cocoa industries of Ghana and the Ivory Coast, often encountering dangerous substances, scorched fields, hefty objects, and sharp instruments as part of their work, according to the Bureau of International Labor Affairs.

As MrBeast works towards lofty objectives in West Africa, he’s simultaneously gearing up for the second season of his popular show, “Beast Games,” available on Amazon Prime. The inaugural season shattered more than 40 Guinness World Records.
