MrBeast is warning legal action against accounts spreading false information regarding the wells he constructed in Africa, which aim to offer clean water to local residents.
In the year 2023, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson shared a video on his YouTube channel, unveiling the water wells he had constructed in Africa.
Through his philanthropic endeavor, Beast Philanthropy, he’s managed to make a difference, consistently contributing positively to the African community. However, amidst his charitable acts, he’s encountered criticism for sharing footage of his philanthropic efforts, with some arguing that it’s inappropriate for him to do so.
On June 10th, Donaldson addressed allegations that the 100 African wells he constructed were no longer functioning, by warning he would file a lawsuit against parties he alleges are spreading false information about his projects.
MrBeast done with people tearing him down for “clout”
A user on Twitter/X stated that the wells constructed by Mr. Beast are currently neglected and no longer functioning. The initial assertion can be found in a TikTok video posted by cpatnews.
Jimmy quickly responded and mentioned that this page was spreading false information.
You’re sharing misleading facts. For your information, this is what I previously clarified regarding that false claim about my philanthropy. Please refrain from spreading untruths about my charitable activities as it may hinder my ability to help people in the future,” he stated.
In his second video, the YouTuber suggested taking legal action against those spreading false claims, since the wells he constructed in Africa continue to operate effectively.
Jimmy expressed his frustration by saying, “If webpages stand upright and make false statements without any evidence, should I take legal action against them? I’ve had enough of my reputation being maligned for the sake of attention. It’s incredibly frustrating.
If webpages falsely claim such things about your wells being shut down, despite evidence showing they’re still functioning, and it’s damaging your reputation, should you consider legal action? I feel your frustration at people exploiting your name for attention; it can be truly tiresome.

Currently, the TikTok account disseminating the false claim about MrBeast’s African wells ceasing operation has been permanently taken down from the platform.
In April, MrBeast countered accusations that he engaged in charitable activities for the sake of views by disclosing that his two least successful videos in 2025 were centered around philanthropy.
