Okay, so I just saw that MrBeast is speaking out about a fake screenshot going around! Apparently, someone created a phony account pretending to be him and was posting comments about Zohran Mamdani, who just got elected mayor of New York City. It’s crazy how easily people can make things look real online, and it’s good MrBeast is trying to set the record straight.
Zohran Mamdani was elected mayor of New York City on November 4, 2025.
Even before the election, Mandani’s campaign gained a lot of attention online. Now that he’s won and will be the next mayor of New York City, there’s been a huge surge in related posts on social media.
A post caught the attention of Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast and the most-subscribed creator on YouTube, but it wasn’t due to any political message.
MrBeast calls out fake YouTube comments from Zohran Mamdani stream
The post came from an X account called ‘Stanley Baldwin.’ It showed a screenshot of the live chat on YouTube after the election results were announced.
The screenshot shows a fake MrBeast account commenting on the election results, claiming the winner is unremarkable, that all US politicians talk the same way, and that New York City is in trouble.
Baldwin shared a screenshot of MrBeast looking frustrated during a livestream with Zohran, but MrBeast quickly explained that he wasn’t actually angry.
Hours later, Donaldson clarified the issue in a reply, confirming that the account wasn’t his.
“Why is it that every day now, I wake up to a new fake tweet of something I never said?” he wrote.
Why is it that everyday now I wake up to a new fake tweet of something I never said 😭

I’ve been following this whole thing, and people in the comments really helped clear things up. It turns out the account isn’t who everyone thinks it is – it’s actually someone pretending to be that famous YouTuber and stirring up trouble in live stream chats with really inflammatory stuff. People added notes explaining all of this right under the original post, which was super helpful.
The YouTube channel, known as ‘MrBeast,’ uses the handle ‘BeastIndustries.’ It’s a verified account with over 123,000 subscribers and includes links to both the Feastables website and a platform for applying to jobs at ‘MrBeast.’

As of this writing, they haven’t posted any videos to their channel, but it’s still active.
MrBeast has dealt with fake posts claiming to be from him before. In 2023, he warned people about AI-generated videos using his likeness to promote scams, and in 2022, he exposed fake YouTube ads that falsely advertised giveaways using his image.
