The well-known YouTuber, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson, has shared that he is collaborating on a book with the legendary author in the realm of thrillers, James Patterson.
It wasn’t until 1993, when James Patterson published the first book in the Alex Cross series, that his writing gained widespread recognition; prior to this, he had released his first book as far back as 1976.
Ever since I stumbled upon his work, I’ve been captivated by this legendary author in the world of thrillers. His novels have sold millions worldwide, with a staggering 200+ titles to his name since he first started out.
In many of his works, Patterson frequently collaborates with other authors, such as Dolly Parton in his 2022 novel “Run Rose, Run.” Now, it’s been disclosed that MrBeast is penning a book alongside the renowned narrator.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve noticed that the content in Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson’s new book, co-authored with Patterson, seems strikingly familiar to some of his viral video concepts – it feels like I’m diving into an extended version of one of his popular streams!
A nameless novel revolves around a high-stakes worldwide competition, where 100 participants demonstrate their leadership abilities by overcoming perilous challenges in hazardous locales across the globe.
In a competition for a billion-dollar reward, competitors form alliances and deceive each other while trying to survive and stay in the game, sometimes leading to their downfall or demise, according to the report.
The book won’t be released until the year 2026. Until then, Donaldson is seeking participants for the second season of his highly-acclaimed Amazon Prime series called “Beast Games”.
Apart from Beast Games, MrBeast also has other non-YouTube ventures in progress. One of these is lending his voice to a character in the Netflix series, Love, Death & Robots, where he’s embracing his aggressive game show host persona.
