  • The upcoming collaboration with Fate/Stay Night may introduce limited 4-Star characters.
  • New playable characters, Castorice and Anaxa, are teased for Version 3.2, leaving 3 Chrysos Heirs remaining.

It’s been hinted through a leak that character Mr. Reca may be made playable in update Version 3.3 of Honkai: Star Rail. In the latest addition to the game, the Remembrance Path has been introduced, and it’s anticipated that several characters belonging to this class will appear in upcoming updates.

Players first met Mr. Reca within the game Honkai: Star Rail during version 2.6, in Penacony. Despite enthusiastic anticipation from fans, Mr. Reca was initially presented as a non-player character (NPC), while Rappa was introduced as a playable character. Since then, Mr. Reca hasn’t made another appearance in-game, but there have been persistent rumors that he might become playable in future updates. HoYoverse has not hinted at Mr. Reca’s inclusion in the banners for version 3.1 of Honkai: Star Rail yet, so fans may not have received any news about his playability just yet. However, a recent leak suggests that we might not have to wait much longer before he joins the game’s roster.

According to Galaxy_Leak and UncleGreekMilk’s recent reports, it appears that the game character Mr. Reca’s complete kit is ready, suggesting he may become playable within Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.3 update. Previous leaks hinted at Mr. Reca being a unique 4-Star Remembrance unit, marking him as the first of his class. In the Penacony storyline, we learned that Mr. Reca is a Memokeeper, similar to Black Swan, aligning him with Aeon Fuli and the Remembrance. It’s possible that Honkai: Star Rail held off on making Mr. Reca playable until more Remembrance units were available, but now his debut could be imminent.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals Mr. Reca’s Potential Release for Version 3.3

Beyond discussing Mr. Reca’s possible release date, the leak also provides insight into Honkai: Star Rail collaborating with Fate/Stay Night. According to the leak, there will be a crossover featuring two playable units in Honkai: Star Rail, one of which is rumored to be a limited 4-Star character. Previous whispers hinted that famous characters from the anime series such as Archer and Saber might appear in HoYoverse’s game. The collaboration is anticipated to go live during the third quarter of 2025. Furthermore, the leak suggests that another 4-Star character may debut in Version 3.7 and could potentially function as a support for the speculated Cyrene.

In a recent post, Honkai: Star Rail unveiled promotional shots of two new playable characters – Castorice and Anaxa – for Version 3.2. This leaves just three Chrysos Heirs yet to be added to the playable roster. The upcoming 3.1 update for Honkai: Star Rail is due in late February, with additional details about the patch set to be revealed during a special livestream on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
