Recently, Zendaya has been quite busy! She’s been on a tennis court for Challengers, on the desert of Arrakis for Dune: Part Two, and in Ithaca for Christopher Nolan’s new version of The Odyssey. Despite the obstacles, she managed to return to the Euphoria set as well. To add to this list, she also found time for a visit to a swamp, joining Shrek 5 as Shrek’s daughter. So long, Meechee! Here’s a sneak peek at Zendaya’s character in the movie – her red hair, bangs, and all – in a new teaser clip. In the video, we see the mirror scrolling through some flirty pictures of Shrek before his embarrassed daughter enters the scene. “Ew, Dad! Bleh,” says Zendaya, introducing us to her complex character. This sneak peek also offers our first looks at Mike Myers’s Shrek, Eddie Murphy’s Donkey, and Cameron Diaz’s Fiona since 2010’s Shrek Forever After. However, we’ll have to wait until Christmas 2026 for the full movie. On the bright side: We have plenty of time to create memes in the meantime!
