We haven’t received the Mortal Kombat 2 trailer yet before the movie comes out this year, but here’s a new poster with Johnny Cage on it. He’s an A-list actor known for action films, and this latest one titled “Uncaged Fury” takes a jab at Tom Cruise and his first Mission: Impossible mission. It’s amusing, though not as impressive as Johnny Cage’s finest work, Ninja Mime.
Hello @Todd_Garner, it appears I’ve come across the poster and an ancient DVD containing the promo clip for the UNCAGED FURY film!

In Mortal Kombat 2, the role of Cage is taken by Karl Urban, who also stars in The Boys. A genuine martial arts master, Cage leveraged his skills to establish a thriving career in Hollywood. He tends to deliver both punches and movie-related jabs during game appearances. There’s been little news regarding the sequel, but here’s what we know about Mortal Kombat 2: it brings back most of the original film cast members and sets them against Shao Kahn and his Outworld troops.
Following nine straight losses in the Mortal Kombat competition, Earthrealm faces a do-or-die situation if they wish to prevent their realm from being combined with Outworld. The release of Mortal Kombat 2 is set for theaters on October 24, 2025.
As a devoted fan, I must admit that things seem a bit peculiar within the gaming realm of the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. The curtains are about to close on the support for Mortal Kombat 1, following the grand unveiling of its definitive edition. The creators at NetherRealm have shared their intentions to shift their focus towards their upcoming project, leaving us fans eagerly anticipating what’s next.
Enthusiasts of classic Mortal Kombat games are set for a delight, as a collection featuring the original arcade games is about to be released. Digital Eclipse and NetherRealm have unveiled the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection, which encompasses games from the early stages of the series spanning arcades, handheld devices, and consoles.
10 games in total will offer updated features such as rollback netcode, with Nightdive Studios adding an exclusive backstage pass for players by incorporating historical gameplay footage and fresh interviews into the experience, much like their work on Tetris Forever and Atari 50.
