A new mod is bringing content from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind into Elden Ring, and a recent update video shows off some of what players can expect. This includes the ability to find Fargoth’s Ring and even steal someone’s sujamma – though doing so might get you into trouble! The video is the first look at the mod’s progress since the creator initially announced this ambitious project.
About a month ago, a modder named AnotherPlus shared an exciting discovery: they had successfully brought the landscapes of Morrowind into the FromSoftware game. While the mod still has some unfinished areas and needs further development, the team is making impressive progress.

This update lets players experience the beginning of the AnotherPlus mod, with the first quests now available. You can start your journey towards facing Dagoth Ur right away! It seems Dagoth, like other characters in the mod, is visually based on a random character from Elden Ring and speaks with a digitally created voice, even when delivering important dialogue.
The modder explained that players can get pretty far into the game currently, despite some ongoing work. While the script compiler isn’t complete, many common Papyrus commands are functional, allowing most quests to be completed without issue. However, occasionally, a quest will require a specific, unimplemented command, causing it to break.
The new crime system works similarly. You can now crouch to pickpocket, which helps prevent accidental theft and the resulting bounties. However, the system isn’t fully fleshed out yet. Guards can’t actually arrest and jail you – they can only react by shouting or becoming hostile if you get too close or resist. They also can’t chase you outside of these scripted interactions.
The main issue preventing the mod from being fully functional is a lack of navmeshes – essentially, the AI’s ability to navigate the game world. According to the development team at AnotherPlus, this is currently their biggest hurdle, and they haven’t found a solution yet. They admit there’s even a possibility they won’t be able to fix it, which could prevent the project from being completed. However, they remain optimistic that they can overcome this challenge.
The mod team is now seeking more volunteers, as discussed in the video. They especially need experienced Morrowind modders to help build a compatibility patch. This patch will address differences in how the two games process numbers, ensuring they work well together.
We still don’t have any news about when this will be released or who it’s for, but AnotherPlus plans to share another update video in the near future.
