Morpeko confirmed in awkward Pokemon Go 2024 Halloween Part 1 event teaser

As a dedicated Pokemon Go player with over ten years of experience under my belt, I must say that this year’s Halloween Part 1 event teaser has left me feeling a bit divided. On one hand, I’m thrilled to see some familiar faces like Zubat, Gastly, Sableye, Murkrow, and even the adorable Witch Hat Pikachu making an appearance. But on the other hand, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment that fan favorites like Mimikyu and Galarian Corsola are once again missing from the lineup.

As we’ve moved into October, Niantic has offered a sneak peek at the Pokémon Go 2024 Halloween Part 1 event. Yet, the hint given for this festive occasion doesn’t leave many details unclear.

Yearly, Halloween chatter about upcoming events in the Pokemon Go community tends to escalate during early October. Some players eagerly anticipate the arrival of Mimikyu, while others hope for the reappearance of popular Ghost-type characters to complete lingering Special Research missions.

2021 sees Pokemon Go subtly incorporating a sneak peek of their Halloween Part 1 into announcements regarding the forthcoming Go Wild Area event scheduled for November. The accompanying visuals offer few secrets about the anticipated scary roster slated for 2024.

On their social media post about event X, PokemonGoApp posed a question: “What might be slithering and scampering into #PokemonGO during the Halloween Part I celebration?” The query is accompanied by a picture of a whimsical house nestled in an autumnal woodland.

However, the “creeping and crawling” silhouettes mentioned in the post aren’t hard to puzzle out.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve always found myself on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the chilling debut of the annual Pokémon Go Halloween events. However, the unexpected early unveiling this year seems to have stirred up a mix of reactions from fellow enthusiasts in the comment sections.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but express my disappointment yet again at missing out on Mimikyu this year. One fellow enthusiast quipped, “I’d bet ten dollars Niantic will drop the ball with the event,” while another shared their hopeful sentiment, “With all the Galar content, I was hoping we might get a glimpse of Galarian Corsola, perhaps next year.

Although Morpeko made its first appearance, fans appear to be more excited about Greavard’s potential inclusion and the rumored unveiling of its Shiny form in the mobile app. There’s no official word yet on the specifics of the 2024 Halloween event, but fans are hopeful, asking “might we finally see Greavard’s Shiny version?

The Pokemon Go 2024 Halloween Update Part 1 has clearly revealed which characters will appear, but we’re yet to hear about Part 2 of the event. It’s still possible that exciting newcomers like Mimikyu or Sinistea might join in on the fun. We can expect more details about the event to be shared over the next few weeks.
