Last Saturday, Joe Jonas unexpectedly showed up in “Saturday Night Live,” where he sang a section of the digital short song “Big Dumb Line.” However, insiders at EbMaster claim that the role was originally intended for musical guest Morgan Wallen, who decided not to take it.
In the drawing, Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, and host Mikey Madison perform a Europop-style tune that humorously portrays their experiences of standing in long, foolish lines in New York City for seemingly absurd foods such as “palad” (a combination of pizza and salad) and “fandy” (fish combined with candy).
NBC could not be reached for comment.
On “Saturday Night Live,” Wallen performed two tunes off his forthcoming album titled “I’m the Problem.” The popular country artist caused a buzz when he abruptly left the stage at the close of the show, ignoring the traditional handshakes and farewells, leading many to speculate. Following this, he posted on Instagram, “Guide me to the heartland,” which was interpreted as a slight towards “SNL” and the city of New York.
People close to Wallen shared with EbMaster the day following the SNL episode that there was no strain between him and the show, and they emphasized he enjoyed his time there. It appears that Wallen didn’t aim to disrespect the series through his immediate departure or Instagram post, according to these sources. A spectator present during the SNL dress rehearsal taping also verified that Wallen exited the stage in a manner similar to what occurred during the live broadcast.
As a dedicated cinema enthusiast, I can’t help but express my thoughts on the peculiar exit of Shia LaBeouf from “SNL”. When asked about it by Entertainment Weekly, Kenan Thompson simply stated, “I can’t fathom what drives people to act in such ways. I’m unsure if he grasped the task at hand or if he was genuinely distressed.
Thompson went on to explain, “When someone disappears without me having a chance to greet them or compliment them, it’s surprising. I thought maybe he needed to use the restroom or something… It’s certainly unusual compared to our usual interactions. We’re accustomed to people turning around and giving us a high-five, constantly praising us with ‘Good job, good job, good job.’ So when there’s a deviation from this norm, I can’t help but wonder what’s going on.
