As a huge fan of Moonlighter, I’m so excited to hear that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is confirmed to be coming to the Switch 2! 11 Bit Studios and Digital Sun just announced it’ll launch on the new console once it’s fully released, which is awesome news for us Switch players.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam), and will also be available on the new Nintendo Switch 2 when the full game is released. It’s currently playable through Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview with Xbox Game Pass. You can find a preview of the game based on a demo from the Summer Game Fest, and 11 Bit Studios has officially announced the Switch 2 version.
The exciting journey continues! Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, the follow-up to the popular indie game where you run a shop and battle monsters, is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2. It will launch this year on PC, Xbox Series X|S (and be available on Game Pass from day one), PlayStation 5, and now Switch 2.
The original Moonlighter quickly became a favorite on Nintendo Switch thanks to its charming pixel art and gameplay reminiscent of classic Nintendo games. The sequel takes everything further with colorful 3D environments, more complex dungeons, and improved combat. Plus, your backpack returns, and how you organize it now directly impacts how valuable your items are!
Moonlighter 2 is currently available on PC through Early Access, with significant updates planned through 2026. The complete, final version (1.0) will be released later this year on all platforms.
