■ Title Update 1

Title Update 1 Introduces the Bouncy Giant Creature, Mizutsune, in the Forbidden Lands, along with fresh difficulties such as Arch-tempered Rey Dau, the unveiling of the Grand Hub meeting place for adventurers, the initial Festival seasonal event, and additional content.

Scrubs in Bubbles

In the game “Monster Hunter Rise”, Mizutsune, the Bubble Fox Wyvern, makes its appearance in the Forbidden Lands on April 4th. Players can embark on a mission to hunt Mizutsune starting from Hunter Rank 21, by speaking with Kanya in the Scarlet Forest. Be cautious though, as the leviathan’s elegant attacks and immobilizing bubbles could lead you astray. For those above Hunter Rank 50, an Event Quest will introduce Arch-tempered Rey Dau, offering a tougher challenge than regular Tempered monster hunts, and a new Rey Dau Gamma armor set as a reward. Additionally, reaching Hunter Rank 50 opens up a mission to hunt Zoh Shia again. After completion, Zoh Shia will appear during the Wyvern’s Wakening in the Ruins of Wyveria, providing more hunting opportunities and allowing you to collect Zoh Shia parts for advanced hunter and Palico equipment.

In summary, you’ll find Arena Quests, Challenge Quests, and Free Challenge Quests temporarily available as Event Quests. For Arena Quests and Challenge Quests, teams of up to two players can participate with pre-assigned gear. On the other hand, Free Challenge Quests have no equipment restrictions and allow hunts with groups of up to four players. You can complete these new quest types alone, in cross-platform online multiplayer, or with Support Hunters. Repeat these quests for faster completion times, and you’ll earn a place on the leaderboard and special pendants as rewards. Keep an eye out on the Quest Board for new Event Quests that offer chances to obtain unique armor, increase your Hunter Rank swiftly, gather cooking ingredients, and more.

Gathering Forces and New Hunting Choices

Title Update 1 presents the introduction of the Grand Gathering Place, or simply “The Grand Hub,” in Monster Hunter Wilds – a vast social area designed for hunters to participate in fresh activities like the Barrel Bowling mini-game, where winning rewards valuable items and pendants is possible. In addition to this, the Grand Hub serves as a gathering spot where villagers of Suja’s customs can be observed, such as the nightly serenade by the Diva. Once hunters achieve Hunter Rank 16, they can converse with Tetsuzan in Suja, unlocking the Grand Hub. Subsequently, the Squad Information Counter will move from the Windward Plains to the communal area for easy squad management. Moreover, the entrance of the Grand Hub will display the Expedition Record Board, featuring the fastest global clear times for newly added Arena Quests and Arena Quest limited bounties.

Every season, the Grand Hub hosts a special event. Kicking off this series is the Blossomdance Festival of Harmony, which takes place from April 22 to May 6. During these events, the Grand Hub’s look and food options will transform, and hunters can acquire temporary equipment, gestures, Pop-Up Camp decorations, and other goodies. Alongside seasonal Event Quests, many previous Event Quests are also set for a comeback. Towards the end of the festival in May, Arch-tempered Rey Dau will appear as part of an Event Quest. Keep an eye out for an upcoming collaboration between Capcom and another game towards the end of the month too!

Don’t be Blandgonga

In the game “Monster Hunter Wilds,” classic gestures are being reintroduced as free additional content. Additionally, Cosmetic Downloadable Content Pack 1 is available for Premium Deluxe Edition and Cosmetic Downloadable Content Pass holders. If you want to customize beyond your hunter, there will be a new outfit for Alma, your loyal handler, and the option to change her glasses, also free. Moreover, you can expect new Camp Gear options for your Pop-Up Camps across the Forbidden Lands. Keep an eye out for future updates that will feature a catalog of all endemic life you’ve collected.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
