Monster Hunter Wilds – How to unlock Seikret Customization

In Monster Hunter Wilds, a significant portion of your playtime will involve navigating the game’s expansive overworld on your Seikret, a bird-like mount. If you’ve developed an attachment to this flying companion, take comfort in knowing that you can modify its appearance at a relatively early stage during the game’s narrative.

How to unlock Seikret customization:

After successfully defeating the Doshaguma during Mission A Hunter’s Pride in Chapter 1-4, head to Kunada, the Windsong Village located in the Plains region on your Wilds world map. Once there, have a conversation with Nona.

With this unlocked, you’ll be able to customize the following features of your Seikret:

  • Skin Color
  • Inner Feather Color
  • Outer Feather Color
  • Pattern Color,Thickness, and Transparency
  • Eye Color(s)
  • Decoration and Pendant Type
  • Name

To customize your Seikret, you can either visit Nona in Kunada, located in the northeast part of the village, or make things easier by accessing the Seikret customization menu directly within your tent. To do this, navigate to the Appearance Menu tab on your Tent screen’s far right side. At the bottom, you’ll see the Seikret Customization option, which provides the same features as talking with Nona in Kunada.

What remains is for you to venture out and discover various types of Decorations and Pendants, including unique ones like the “Soldier’s Caparison” and “General’s Caparison”, which are only available as downloadable content.
