In their ongoing efforts to roll out the initial free update for Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom introduces fresh creatures like Mizutsune into the action RPG landscape. Interestingly, the game’s director, Yuya Tokuda, has personally dipped his toes into online gameplay – and it hasn’t been all plain sailing.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my joy upon witnessing the global enthusiasm for Monster Hunter World! Just like director Tokuda, I was thrilled to see so many players immersed in this incredible game. Recently, I even attempted to respond to a multiplayer SOS flare to hunt Gore Magala, but let’s just say it didn’t end as smoothly as I’d hoped!
As a gamer, I jumped into a Gore Magala hunt the other day by sending out an SOS flare. Little did I know, I’d be the one to crash the cart before anyone else. Tokuda here, and I must admit, it didn’t sit well with me, but we eventually triumphed in that hunt! Needless to say, Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer, and art director Kaname Fujioka were pretty thrilled. Looking ahead, they hinted that Monster Hunter Wilds has much more in store than just the scheduled updates. And let me tell you, the series itself is brimming with surprises too!
