This summer, a free update will add incredibly strong Royal Monsters to Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
When the update launches, players level 90 and above will be able to challenge the new Royal Monsters. Capcom also says that the next part of the story, featuring Rudy, is progressing well and they’re looking at releasing it sooner than originally planned.

We’re working on a free update for Monster Hunter Stories 3 that will add incredibly strong Monsters, known as Royal Monsters, to the game. These powerful creatures will appear in the wild, offering players tougher and more exciting battles.
Players at level 90 or higher will need to be well-prepared and use their best Monsties and tactics to win.
This free update is planned for release this summer.
We’re making good progress on the paid DLC “Additional Side Story: Rudy,” and we’re looking into the possibility of releasing it sooner than originally planned.
