Monarch Season 2 Will Blow Your Mind With These Shocking Stories!

The second season of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” might not have a confirmed release date as per the 2025 TV schedule (if it’s not saved for a later year), but rest assured, it’s on its way. Filming wrapped up in March for this Apple TV+ exclusive series, and whenever it resumes, it will delve further into the period bridging Godzilla and Godzilla: King of the Monsters within the MonsterVerse timeline. Before that, I’m eager to learn about five “Monarch”-related narratives in progress, with two of them planned to provide some crucial context from Season 1.

Today, it’s been revealed that Legendary Comics is teaming up with Rocketship Entertainment to unveil the graphic novel “Monarch: The Lost Adventures” on Kickstarter. This anthology will feature five stories centered around characters from “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters“, such as Lee Shaw, Billy Randa, Keiko, Kentaro, Cate and May. Additionally, anticipate titans such as Kong, the Brambleboar, and the Ion Dragon within this collection.

For more information about the creative minds behind these stories and the perks for supporters of Monarch: The Lost Adventures, you can check out their Kickstarter page. However, I’d like to draw your attention to two particular stories – ‘Keiko and the Bramblebore’ and ‘Kentaro, Hiroshi, and Kong’. In ‘Keiko and the Bramblebore’, we follow Keiko as she fights to survive in Axis Mundy, a realm situated between Earth and Hollow Earth. Meanwhile, ‘Kentaro, Hiroshi, and Kong’ focuses on the main antagonist who goes on a voyage that ultimately results in the establishment of the Apex base on Skull Island, as depicted in the finale of Monarch Season 1.

Amber Midthunder Joins the Cast of Monarch’s Second Season as a Key Character, and I’m Excited About How Her Persona Will Develop Throughout the Series

Both sentences convey the same information but are written in different ways to keep the content engaging and easy to read.

Contrary to initial beliefs that Keiko perished in 1959, it was disclosed in Monarch’s penultimate episode of Season 1 that she had miraculously survived. She was taken into Axis Mundy by Endoswarmer larvae instead. Remarkably, due to time flowing differently there, Keiko had only been gone for a few months rather than over half a century, which explains why she appeared unchanged when her granddaughter Cate, Lee, and May stumbled upon her in 2015. Despite this, being isolated among Titans for such an extended period must have been challenging. I’m intrigued to discover how she managed to endure the Brambleboar attacks during that time.

In the finale of Season 1 of “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”, approximately one and half years had elapsed since Cate and May plunged into Axis Mundy. Meanwhile, Kentaro, Hoshi, and Tim collaborated with Brenda Holland from Apex Cybernetics, setting up their base on Skull Island, where Kong resides at this specific time in the narrative. It’s anticipated that Season 2 of “Monarch” will delve deeper into Apex and the circumstances leading to the emergence of Mechagodzilla in “Godzilla vs. Kong”. Prior to these events, Kentaro and Hoshi will find themselves entangled in an escapade involving their beloved giant ape, as they attempt to save Cate and May.

To help fund “Monarch: The Lost Adventures” through Kickstarter, you need to act by Thursday, May 15 (12:01 Pacific Time). If you can’t support it now, stay tuned to TopMob for future updates on “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” Season 2 and the wider MonsterVerse. This includes the upcoming movie scheduled for release on March 26, 2027.
