As a gamer with over two decades of MMORPG experience under my belt, the announcement that Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will launch in Early Access on December 13 has me more excited than a level 80 warrior at the sight of a rare loot drop. I remember backing the Kickstarter campaign back in 2014 and being disappointed when it failed to reach its funding goal, but seeing this game come to fruition after all these years is a testament to the tenacity of its developers.

Visionary Realms have declared that they are planning to release Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen for Early Access on December 13th.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a role-playing game set in a massive multiplayer online world, which was first launched as a Kickstarter project in 2014 and led by Brad McQuaid, the creator of Everquest. Despite not meeting its $800,000 fundraising target through Kickstarter, the development team persisted, setting up their own funding platform while looking for additional financial support. Over the past ten years, the game’s production has continued, even after McQuaid’s demise in 2019.

Although certain individuals who backed the project have already played the MMORPG in development, the Early Access release now makes it available for purchase by the public for the first time. Visionary Realms has provided a Fact Sheet with details about the Early Access launch, with additional information to follow. The game’s Steam page is now open as well.
