Everything New in MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty

In MLB The Show 25, the Diamond Dynasty Mode introduces a continuous Card Progression system throughout the entire year, rendering Sets and Seasons obsolete. This means that every card in the game can be used at any time, not just during specific sets or seasons. However, what other features can we expect to see in DD this year?

Diamond Quest

To start, Diamond Quest introduces a fresh single-player experience that players can revisit numerous times. The action takes place on a dynamically changing gameboard, featuring varying challenges, bosses, compact 3-game sessions, and other elements each time you play. As you progress, you’ll collect rewards, uncover hidden secrets, and encounter more exciting aspects. Increasing the difficulty level enhances your chances of receiving superior rewards.

In the exciting game called Diamond Quest, you’ll accumulate Peanuts by executing impressive moves. Later, these Peanuts can be spent on desirable Perks at Coach’s Cart. However, similar to the Perks, there are drawbacks or penalties within the game that might impact your performance negatively.

Some Perks revealed include:

  • Clear For Takeoff – Exit velocity boost on normal swings
  • Cannon Arms – Outfielders throw harder when runners are on base
  • Defibrillator – Significant Contact Boost while behind in the count

Each game of Diamond Quest is different, so expect something unique in each playthrough!

Head-To-Head Weekend Classic

In MLB The Show 25’s Diamond Dynasty, a fresh Weekend Classic Mode is on its way! This exciting competition kicks off at the conclusion of each Ranked Season and welcomes all participants. As your performance improves, you’ll advance through increasingly challenging divisions, earning progressively superior rewards suited for our game’s top-tier players.

You’ll start off in a Leaderboard, and the better you perform, the better rewards you earn.

Team Affinity

Team Affinity returns to MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty with a few new improvements.

You’ll choose a squad, accomplish tasks specific to that team, and receive special perks unique to that program. Additionally, fresh content updates will be regularly added to motivate players to explore Team Affinity, which will also aid you in advancing within your existing program.

Multiplayer Program

From now on, you can access all multiplayer features within our Multiplayer Suite. You’ll find options like Ranked Matches, Battle Royale, Special Events, Play Against Friends, and Casual modes here. Additionally, our recently announced Weekend Classic Mode is included as well.

The new Multiplayer Program in MLB The Show 25 is the new central hub for Multiplayer modes.

Diamond Dynasty Programs

In relation to programs, themed and player programs make a comeback in MLB The Show 25’s Diamond Dynasty. Furthermore, Spotlight Programs will be periodically released, offering fresh rewards within the game for your accumulation. Your My Legacy progress will be continually monitored throughout your journey, allowing you and others to follow it.

In MLB The Show 25, the Negro Leagues make a comeback, introducing fresh players to join the roster. Additionally, this update includes new Legends, narratives, and presentations aimed at immersing you in the rich history of baseball.
