San Diego Studio has unveiled the lineup of legendary players joining MLB The Show 25, yet content producers have hinted at an additional secret reveal.
In MLB The Show 25’s Diamond Dynasty, you’ll encounter more than 200 legendary players, with Ted Williams, Manny Ramirez, and Roger Clemens leading an impressive group of new additions. Developers have unveiled plans for 24 new legends set to join the game this year.
Despite the fact that the game currently boasts an impressive roster of legendary characters, there are still some key figures who haven’t made an appearance yet. Fans continue to dream that players like Barry Bonds, Ichiro Suzuki, and Alex Rodriguez (and others) will be added in future updates.
In the first unveiling video, San Diego Studio didn’t feature any of these legendary characters, but it’s likely that at least one (and possibly more) legends are still to be disclosed and will be available at the game’s launch.
MLB The Show legends trailer leaves out one surprise
DaddyDimmu, a popular streamer for MLB The Show, expressed, “I didn’t notice ‘REDACTED’ was missing from the Legends trailer. That’s odd because I recall using him in game… It’s intriguing.
Unfortunately, my colleague, YourFriendKyle, has delivered disappointing news for fans who were rooting for Barry Bonds.
FriendKyle remarked, “It’s astonishing how many people were eagerly anticipating Barry Bonds in the game. If you notice all the constructive improvements this game has already made and still find reasons to criticize before its release, then you probably shouldn’t be allowed to play it.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel confident that A-Rod would indeed grace the cover of a legendary game, but DaddyDimmu subtly hinted that we won’t see the big reveal until the game is almost here.
It’s possible that Nutzy has solved the mystery, as he verified that Gaylord Perry is now a legendary figure and will be the prize for the Guardians’ Live Series.

Speaking of which, it’s worth noting that when MLB The Show 25 officially drops, there’s likely to be some unexpected twists and turns, whether you get early access on March 14 or the global release on March 18.
