Having watched her rise from humble Muppet beginnings to become one of the most iconic characters in entertainment history, I can attest to the sheer force of her personality and the indomitable spirit that propels her every move.

Every year at the D23 Expo, they induct individuals who have significantly impacted transforming Walt’s small company into the worldwide powerhouse it is today. This year’s honorees include Harrison Ford, Frank Oz, Imagineer Joe Rohde, but not Miss Piggy. “I acknowledge that the committee for the Disney Legend award has again failed to recognize my ‘For Your Consideration’ campaign, and instead they are granting it to another group this year,” she said.
