I must say, this guide was quite a journey! It’s not every day one finds themselves solving glitchy clocks and staring at walls until they break six times. But hey, that’s what indie horror is all about, right? The thrill of the hunt, the suspense of the unknown, and the satisfaction of finally finding that elusive puzzle piece.

Toward the closing stages of the chapter “Dummies and Forgotten Puzzles” in MiSide, you will encounter a Mita who appears quite faint. To restore her and progress further, you must uncover five subtly concealed drawing elements that will help recover some of her essence.

Where to find all the drawing puzzle pieces in MiSide

Upon stepping into the room, you’ll encounter Mita, who seems rather bewildered. She requests your assistance and offers a quest: locate and assemble five puzzle pieces scattered around her room. Here are their respective hiding spots for your search.

The first piece

The initial item you need is most conveniently placed; you’ll locate it atop Mita’s dressing table, where her mirror and cosmetics reside.

The second and third pieces

Afterwards, you’ll find two items hidden within the pieces of furniture. As you face the door you entered, there’s a side table to your right next to the door and a dresser to your left, positioned beneath the clock. Each location will contain one item; simply engage with the furniture to retrieve them. When you engage with these items, your character will search all of the drawers automatically.

The fourth piece

The fourth item will be concealed, located among the error messages on Mita’s computer desk near her workstation. A phantom error message will appear, indicating that a file is absent.

  • Press OKAY on the error message.
  • A whole bunch more error messages will spawn.
  • Click RETRY on every single one of them.
  • A FILE FOUND message will appear.
  • Press OKAY.
  • Keep clicking OKAY or RETRY until a puzzle piece appears.

The final puzzle piece

For me, this particular item was quite elusive. To retrieve it, you should fix your gaze on the purple clock mounted on the wall opposite Mita’s bed. If you maintain your stare for an adequate duration, the wall surrounding the clock will start to crack, then shatter repeatedly. Keep in mind that you need to be fairly close to it; if it’s not breaking after a moment, move closer. Once the wall has fractured five or six times, a puzzle piece should drop onto the dresser.

What to do with the drawing puzzles pieces

With all five items in hand, it’s time for you to approach Mita’s computer desk. As the protagonist takes a seat, the game will automatically arrange the items on the table. Now, combine these pieces to create a mini version of Mita, but with an ‘X’ marking where her face should be.

Upon assembly, go ahead and pick up the glue from the table nearby. Then, hover your cursor over the image until every piece is securely glued. Lastly, hand the finished artwork over to Mita.
