Mojang collaborates with Nickelodeon to release a Downloadable Content (DLC) based on the popular series, SpongeBob SquarePants, in Minecraft. This new addition brings fresh characters, vehicles, weaponry, and other exciting elements for gamers to enjoy.
From the Minecraft store description, this DLC offers me an exciting opportunity to explore renowned locations straight out of my beloved SpongeBob SquarePants series, including the Chum Bucket, Krusty Krab, and even SpongeBob’s very own house! What makes it even more thrilling is the chance to step into the shoes of various show characters and cruise around in iconic vehicles like the Rock car, Flying Dutchman, or even a Seahorse.
As a long-time fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, I must say that this add-on has truly captured the essence of the show and brought it to life in a unique way. Unlike other mods, this one doesn’t require players to switch modes or worlds; instead, it seamlessly integrates with their existing survival world. This immersive feature allows for a more engaging and dynamic gameplay experience.
After finishing these missions, players will receive blueprints for structures from Bikini Bottom as a reward. The SpongeBob SquarePants DLC is now available and requires 1,510 Minecraft Coins (the game’s premium currency), which equates to $10. Those who buy it will also gain access to 10 new clothing options for their character.
