Get ready for a real-life Minecraft experience! Fans will soon be able to enter the world of Minecraft, battle monsters, solve puzzles, and earn special prizes.
Fans of Minecraft will soon be able to step inside the game with a new, real-life adventure coming to the Chicago area. Called Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, this immersive event at the Pearl District will let players explore and discover just like they do in the popular video game.
Visitors will explore areas designed to look like the game world, and they’ll meet iconic enemies and creatures such as Creepers, Skeletons, and Spiders. While you’ll see Creepers, you probably won’t have to worry about them exploding!
New Minecraft interactive experience lets fans mine resources
This attraction is all about getting involved – you’ll be chopping wood, collecting materials, and digging for gems as you try to save the villagers. It’s a very interactive experience with a focus on action and completing a key quest.

A key part of what makes this event special is the Orb of Interaction. It’s used to start challenges and make things happen around the venue, even unlocking extra features. For example, visitors can use it at the Minecraft Experience: Trading Post to get exclusive souvenirs and themed items related to the event.
