The developers at MindsEye are diligently working day and night to resolve the various bugs and issues causing problems for players on all platforms.
Ever since its launch on June 10th, MindsEye has faced a considerable amount of backlash. The game, reminiscent of GTA, has been heavily criticized for its technical issues such as bugs, subpar performance, and frequent crashes. The situation has escalated to such an extent that many players have petitioned for refunds, much like the response towards Cyberpunk 2077.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve come across some buzz about the troubles with MindsEye, a game I was eagerly waiting to play. Sony (PlayStation) has announced they’re delving into this situation. On the other hand, Xbox players have encountered an issue when trying to refund the game. But here’s the silver lining: the developers have made it clear that they’re tirelessly working on resolving these problems. They’ve given us their word, and I, for one, am hopeful and patiently waiting for a smoother gaming experience with MindsEye.
MindsEye devs are working on fixes
On MindsEye Reddit, Build a Rocket Boy spoke about the difficulties encountered when playing the game.
A big thank you to everyone who were our trailblazers on day one! We realize that the current minimum system requirements are quite demanding, but rest assured, our development team is tirelessly working to enhance performance for both standard PC hardware and consoles by incorporating optimizations from Unreal Engine V5.6.
Warning: MindsEye is currently experiencing numerous technical problems, making it an unpleasant gaming experience. It’s recommended to postpone playing this game until these issues are resolved.
Here’s why: The game runs at a fixed 30 frames per second on all consoles and encounters frequent stuttering. Performance on PC, using Unreal Engine 5, is also disorganized. Moreover, the game is riddled with bugs, affecting it overall. Lastly, there have been numerous crash issues reported by many players on both PC and console versions.

In the coming 24 hours, we’ll share details about when Patch 3 will be released, highlighting the enhancements it brings. Besides feedback on our ongoing campaign, we’re eager for your insights regarding Build.Mindseye as well.
Developers haven’t shared if the upcoming update will rectify the chilling texture glitches that presently make character faces appear as though they’re melting – a seemingly unplanned homage to Assassin’s Creed Unity.
Additionally, no information has been provided about resolving the issues with the malfunctioning NPCs. To date, numerous videos have gone viral, depicting NPCs jumping through the air, passing through objects, and exhibiting peculiar behavior in battle scenarios.
It’s hoped that the forthcoming update addresses the performance problems and glitches, yet MindsEye’s debut has been anything but seamless.
