Milly Alcock’s Shocking Revelation: A Higher-Up Suggested She Get an Acting Coach!

Milly Alcock, currently recognized for her role in ‘House of the Dragon‘ and soon-to-be Supergirl in James Gunn’s DC Universe, is preparing for her major breakthrough in the realm of modern superheroes. In the past, the 25-year-old actress rose to fame a few years ago when she portrayed Rhaenyra Targaryen during Season 1 of the ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off. Although that role was significant, Alcock recalls it as a “very scary” experience. The situation grew even more daunting when someone in a high position noticed her on set and advised her to take acting lessons.

On “The Tonight Show,” Alcock spoke openly with Jimmy Fallon about House of the Dragon, the role that may have caught Gunn’s attention and marked her as the next Supergirl. As an actor, she acknowledged the honor of being part of one of HBO’s most acclaimed series in recent times. She shared that despite its life-changing impact, she reminisced about an embarrassing incident on her second day of filming.

On the second day at House of the Dragon, a person of significant standing discreetly took me aside and said something along the lines of, “It looks like we’ll be arranging for an acting coach for you.

It validated all the suspicions I had, and it turns out I’m not particularly skilled at my work. In other words, you understand when I say, “Oh boy, I’m really struggling here. This is awful. I think I made a blunder.

Fallon correctly noted that whoever made that statement to her was off base entirely. From the onset of the “House of the Dragon” series, Alcock emerged as one of its most adored characters in the early stages. Regrettably, Alcock’s tenure in the fantasy drama proved brief since the character grew older and eventually got portrayed by Emma D’Arcy.

On The Tonight Show, Alcock was inquired about Supergirl from the interviewer, but Alcock remained tight-lipped regarding any specifics related to the DC Universe. However, she did discuss her upcoming Netflix series titled Sirens, which also stars Julianne Moore, Kevin Bacon, and Meghann Fahy. Regarding the black comedy series, she explained that “it primarily unfolds during the Labor Day weekend. I work for Kiki (Moore), and we’re attempting to organize this gala. My sister (Fahy) arrives and essentially creates turmoil and chaos.
