Midnight Society hits out at Dr Disrespect’s “baseless claim” of returning to studio

As a die-hard fan who’s followed Dr Disrespect’s rollercoaster career for years now, I find myself once again at a crossroads of hope and skepticism. On one hand, I’ve seen Doc bounce back from seemingly insurmountable odds before – his resilience is nothing short of legendary in the streaming world. On the other hand, the allegations against him are serious and hard to ignore.

The Midnight Society has refuted Dr. Disrespect’s speculation that his ban from the game studio might be lifted in the future, following his admission of sending inappropriate messages to a minor.

YouTube personality Dr Disrespect, known as Guy Beahm in real life, faced severe consequences such as losing multiple partnerships and voluntarily departing from his studio, Midnight Society. This was triggered by allegations made by ex-Twitch staff that he had been banned from the platform in 2020 due to inappropriate messages he sent to a minor.

Initially, Doc confessed to the accusations, but later on his YouTube channel, he asserted that the ban from Twitch was orchestrated, insisting that he hadn’t done anything wrong.

While waiting for another chance at YouTube monetization, Beahm explained to a puzzled user why the term “Midnight Society” remained in his social media profile.

Dr Disrespect asserted that he has permission to rejoin Midnight Society again, stating that it “remains his creative space” – despite him and the top executives mutually deciding to end their association.

I have a hunch – let’s wait a while longer. Don’t worry, we’ll get back on track soon. Hang in there, team. We just need a bit more time.” (He added)

On the contrary, the studio firmly rejects any future collaboration with Beahm and deemed his statements as unfounded.

Representing Midnight Society, their spokesperson clarified to Decrypt that the statement they made was unfounded and, in fact, false.

The studio shared that they have friendly separated from Dr Disrespect, acknowledging the valuable work he’s done for them. Their main priority now is releasing Deadrop by 2025.

The uncertain future of Dr Disrespect is hanging in the balance, as he waits for information about whether or not his channel will be reinstated on YouTube following his application resubmission on September 25.

Although The Midnight Society has made it clear that Dr Disrespect is not welcome back to their studio, the streamer continues to list the company in his Twitter bio as of September 30th.
