To clarify, while no other game from Microsoft beyond The Outer Worlds 2 has been announced with an $80 price tag (though speculation suggested Black Ops 7 might be), it’s worth noting that Microsoft won’t be charging such a high price for any of their games this year.
In simpler terms, the representative stated that their primary goal is to offer players amazing realms to discover, and they plan to maintain the price of their premium game releases, such as The Outer Worlds 2, at $69.99, which aligns with current market standards.
Currently at the moment of this writing, the Xbox.com page for The Outer Worlds 2 is displaying a price of $80 for the standard version and $100 for the deluxe version.
