Metroid Prime 4 Gets Another Age Rating As Fans Await Release Date

Over the last twelve months, Nintendo has maintained a steady schedule regarding the arrival of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which is expected to come out in the year 2025. Although an official launch date for Samus Aran’s upcoming journey hasn’t been set yet, Metroid Prime 4 has received another maturity rating.

Initially spotted by reporter Necro Felipe from Video Games Chronicle, it’s now been rated 14+ for Metroid Prime 4 in Brazil. Previously, this game had a +12 rating in South Korea, and in the United States, it was categorized as T for Teen by the ESRB.

In August, Nintendo confirmed that Metroid Prime 4 would likely be released by 2025. We’ll probably hear more details about this during the Nintendo Direct on September 12th. For now, we can only guess what those updates may include.

Excitingly, both Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 will host this long-awaited game, but it’s only the latter that will leverage the advanced mouse controls of Joy-Con 2.
