Metroid Prime 4: Beyond “Out Now” Poster Spotted In London

After a long wait of 18 years for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, fans were relieved when Nintendo confirmed its release this year to quell concerns about more delays. Although an official launch date hasn’t been set yet, there are advertisements in the London Underground claiming that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is already available.

The image of the advertisement was shared on Reddit, sparking much debate. However, it’s probably just an error and not Nintendo secretly releasing one of their highly anticipated games this year following the launch of the Switch 2 without any major promotional efforts.

For the first time this year, Nintendo unveiled the initial trailer for Metroid Prime 4. Since then, fans have only caught brief glimpses of the game. In the upcoming installment, players will take on the role of bounty hunter Samus Aran who finds herself stranded on a jungle planet named Viewros. There she encounters enemies and treacherous environments. Fortunately, Samus has also gained some new psychic abilities that could help her navigate this latest challenge.

As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled about Metroid Prime 4 being released on both Switch and the upcoming Switch 2. What excites me most is the unique feature on the Switch 2, allowing players to effortlessly transition between traditional controls and the mouse-like capabilities of Joy-Con 2 at a moment’s notice. Adapting to this flexibility took some practice during TopMob’s preview, but the game’s initial impressions are nothing short of promising.

Nintendo has yet to reveal a specific release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but since we’re already halfway through the year, fans likely won’t have to wait much longer.
