Metro Dev 4A Games Rebrands To Reburn, Announces New Sci-Fi FPS La Quimera

4A Games, formerly known as the developer behind Metro, is undergoing a transformation, having officially rebranded itself as Reburn. This new identity comes alongside the announcement of its upcoming game, La Quimera. Established in 2006, Reburn anticipates that La Quimera will mark a significant shift from their previous projects, describing it as an immersive first-person shooter with a strong emphasis on storyline, environment design, and character development. Although a specific launch date for the game has yet to be revealed, it is confirmed to be released on PC.

The upcoming game boasts star power from Hollywood, as it was developed and scripted by Nicholas Winding Refn (known for Drive and The Neon Demon) together with EJA Warren of Reburn. This unique title blends Latin-American folklore with state-of-the-art weaponry and technology. Players can enjoy La Quimera solo or team up with two others in its cooperative mode. Immerse yourself in the role of a struggling PMC soldier, donning an exosuit, as you traverse both urban and jungle landscapes in this thrilling game experience.

Dmytro Lymar, CEO and founder of Reburn, is thrilled to announce La Quimera, inspired by our past achievements in creating story-centric shooter games for the Metro series. We’re excited to unveil this enigmatic universe to players and can’t wait for them to experience the excitement of gearing up to participate in the battle.
