Metaphor: ReFantazio showcases world exploration, quests, and dungeons in World Tour video

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that Atlus has once again managed to pique my interest with their latest offering, Metaphor: ReFantazio. The World Tour stream was nothing short of captivating, showcasing the game’s stunning visuals and immersive world design.

Atlus has unveiled the fifth video in their exclusive series for the game Metaphor: ReFantazio, titled “World Tour”. This latest video offers a glimpse into navigating the world, completing quests, exploring dungeons and towns, engaging in various activities, and more. Preceding this, Atlus had previously streamed videos labeled as “Introduction”, “Archetypes”, “Story”, and “Characters”.

In the flow of the stream, Katsura Hashino articulates that the gameplay for this “Journey” title distinguishes it notably from both the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei (SMT) series.

Recently, we got the opportunity to spend several hours playing ReFantazio at an event hosted by Sega. For a more in-depth look into our experience, check out James’ comprehensive review here.

On the 11th of October, Refantazio will debut globally, appearing at the same time on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam for PC users, much like a beautiful symphony starting in unison across various stages.

Tonight’s live stream offered a glimpse into Metaphor: ReFantazio’s enchanting universe, where players can expect to discover the breathtaking, the bizarre, and the extraordinary on their adventure. Studio Zero’s director, Katsura Hashino, guided viewers through unseen areas such as villages, islands, mazes, and even the interior of a giant worm. Additionally, Hashino-san introduced a new companion character named Eupha, suggesting that we will learn more about her in time.
