In the Costume DLC pack for the Etrian Odyssey Series, you’ll find distinctive outfits for seven character classes: Hero, Gladiator, Protector, Ronin, Troubadour, Shaman, and Bushi. Remember that each costume corresponds to a party member, so choose wisely to avoid any surprises. I’ve left out names intentionally to steer clear of spoilers.

How to change outfits in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

After gaining entry to Akademia, where you’ll quickly encounter More, you’ll later find that you can retrieve the DLC costume bundles from a golden box on the couch, as depicted in the provided screenshot. Once retrieved, you may customize these costumes for each character individually from the equipment section and at the bottom of the screen, under accessories for each character. Remember, only the characters’ appearances in dungeons and at the end of battles will be altered by these DLC outfits; all cut-scenes and non-dungeon locations will show them wearing their standard outfits.

How to use DLC music and change the battle theme in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

To switch the battle tune with the DLC music in Metaphor: ReFantasio, you must alter the main character’s attire. The combat theme adjusts according to the DLC costume the character is sporting. Regrettably, Atlus hasn’t incorporated an option to shuffle or pick from DLC tracks within the game itself. Instead, it matches the battle theme to the outfit the protagonist wears in Metaphor: ReFantasio.

In essence, this modification doesn’t just alter the overall battle motif (except in certain situations), but it also switches the victory tune that sounds when you finish a battle. Ideally, future updates might let players with multiple DLC packs to choose randomly which battle theme is played during dungeons.
