Meghan Markle Didn’t Film Netflix Show at Her Own House Because ‘80 People in the Kitchen Isn’t the Childhood Memory’ She Wants for Her Kids

In her Netflix show titled “With Love, Meghan,” the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, demonstrates various activities such as baking delightful treats, organizing events, hosting engaging brunches, and sharing tips on enhancing one’s domestic lifestyle.

Contrary to several other lifestyle shows, “With Love” is not filmed within Meghan’s personal home. Instead, the show is set in a farmhouse located nearby in Montecito, California, which belongs to Meghan and Harry’s neighbors, Tom and Sherrie Cipolla.

Meghan explained during her chat with Time CEO Jessica Sibley at the Time100 Summit in New York, why she decided against shooting footage within her personal residence.

Meghan explained that some people ask, “Why didn’t you film at your home?” However, she has young kids who take naps, and having 80 people in the kitchen isn’t a peaceful memory she wants for them. This comment was made in reference to the large crew working on the series. Meghan and Prince Harry have two children, Archie (5 years old) and Lilibet (3 years old).

Meghan expressed her gratitude for discovering a nearby spot, mentioning that defining the limits for her family helps her maintain her well-being.

The second season of ‘With Love, Meghan’ on Netflix has been confirmed and is now ready for release this fall. At a recent Time100 Summit, it was announced that renowned chef José Andrés, founder of World Central Kitchen, will feature in this upcoming series. Previously, both Meghan and Harry worked alongside Andrés in distributing aid to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year.

The first season featured the likes of Mindy Kaling, Roy Choi, Delfina Blaquier, and Abigail Spencer, as well as some other notable personalities.
